Acer Nitro 5, Aspire 7 and Aspire 5 laptops with AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors launched


NEW DELHI: Acer has launched new Nitro 5 gaming notebooks and new Aspire 5 and 7 notebooks powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor at CES 2021.

The Acer Nitro 5 comes with a starting price tag of $749.99 and it will be available in North America starting February. The gaming notebook comes with AMD Ryzen 9 5900 HX mobile processor and the device offers NVIDIA GeForce RTX. The laptop packs 32GB of RAM and 2TB HDD storage.

The Acer Nitro 5 comes in two display sizes — 15-inch and 17-inch. The QHD display offer 165Hz refresh rate. Acer also kept colors bright with a 300-nit panel that covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The laptop consists of twin fans and Acer CoolBoost technology. CoolBoost monitors fan speed and increases it when necessary to optimise total performance. Users can monitor and manage the system in real time with NitroSense, giving them control over thermal management, fan speed and more.

On the other hand, the Acer Aspire 7 is priced at $749.99 and it will be available in North America starting March. The laptop is powered by the new AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTZ GPU. The laptop weighs 2.15kg and packs 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD space. The notebook features a 15.6-inch display which comes with Acer Colour Intelligence and Acer ExaColour. Acer Color Intelligence provides a more brilliant and vivid display with less CPU loading.

The thermal design of Acer Aspire 7 offers multiple cooling modes and with a single touch shortcut “Fn+F,” the fan speed can be alternated between silent, normal or performance.

Lastly, Acer also launched the Aspire 5 laptop priced at $549.99. The device will go on sale in North America starting March. The Acer Aspire 5 is also powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor paired with 24GB of RAM. The device offers 1TB SSD space. The notebook comes with a sleek design and a 15.6-inch FHD display. The device comes with Acer BlueLightShield technology which reduces the emission of blue light.
