A rival to Tile, these devices were expected to be launched in 2020, but according to a report by MacRumours that cites TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, these will be launched and are expected to be launched in 2021. As per Kuo, Apple not only plans to launch this new device this year, but also an unspecified augmented reality device and other new products.
Previously too, Apple has been rumoured to be working on an Augmented Reality headset. Back in May 2020, Kuo had said that the alleged augmented reality glasses are expected to be launched in 2022 but it appears there is a shift in the timelines.
Other than AirTags and Apple AG Glasses, Kuo also suggests that the iPhone-maker is going to launch new AirPods and more Apple M1 chipset-powered MacBooks in 2021.
Back in June 2020, Kuo had suggested that Apple AirPods 3 may come in the first half of 2021 and will boast a design which is similar to the AirPods Pro. Though it wasn’t mentioned it is unlikely that the new AirPods 3 will have active noise cancellation.
