The company has introduced the earbuds alongside the 2021 Galaxy S flagship series smartphones.
The earbuds promise improved sound, superior call quality, better ANC and enhanced connectivity across the Galaxy devices.
Galaxy Buds Pro sports two AKG-tuned drivers, an 11mm woofer for better bass output and a 6.5mm twitter for treble and mids.
The earbuds claim to offer a dynamic, balanced and distortion free sound output.
Galaxy Buds Pro are equipped with three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) for better voice reception and separate surrounding noise.
One of the outer microphones also has a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) to eliminate background noises.
In addition, the company has integrated its new WindShield technology into Galaxy Buds Pro to cancel out wind noises from surrounding.
The earbuds come with a new intelligent ANC technology that promises to reduce background noise by up to 99%.
There’s also ambient sound mode built into it. This allows users to boost nearby sounds by up to 20 decibels.
The ANC on Galaxy earbuds work together with Ambient Sound to adapt the surrounding and optimise the listening experience accordingly.
Galaxy Buds Pro recognize when you’re speaking, and they can automatically switch between canceling nearby sounds and amplifying them.
They can even turn down your music when you want to talk.
Galaxy Buds Pro also comes with an Auto-Switch feature that automatically switches between the devices based on the need.
Other features include Dolby Head Tracking, Game Mode and more.
The Galaxy Buds Pro claims to offer up to 8 hours of playback and an additional 20 hours using the wireless charging case without ANC.
With ANC the earbuds are rated to last for 5 hours and an additional 13 hours with the case.
The Galaxy Buds Pro is priced at $199 and it will be available starting January 15 in the US.
