In this mode, Google will literally motivate you to do nothing, no matter, whatever you ask. For example, if you ask: “Is the bank open today?”, Google will respond: “People still go to banks? Ok boomer”. Or, if you ask, “How’s the traffic?” Google may respond: “He misses you, but he’ll get over it.” So, whatever you ask in this mode to Assistant, Google will be of no help at all and will be all fun.
This marketing campaign aims to help people to take a break from their lives and just relax by doing nothing.
Meanwhile, Google has started rolling out a new design to Assistant that includes the Pixel light bar to all Android phones. The light reflects on from the lower sides of users’ phones and pools together at the bottom just before the Assistant panel slides up.
Apart from the light, the new design also comes with a new design for the activation panel that doesn’t take up the entire screen and houses the Assistant logo in the center with “Hi, how can I help?” written below it.
