According to the images that have appeared on SlashLeaks, the upcoming handset is said to house an in-display fingerprint sensor and skips the punch-hole camera design on the left side of the display that was there on Pixel 4a. Therefore, it remains to be seen where the front camera is placed on the Pixel 5a when it is eventually launched.
Besides the design, the images leaked also hint at the specs of the Pixel 5a, which allegedly will come with a 128GB of internal storage paired with 6GB of RAM — the same found in Pixel 4a.
Another screenshot shows the camera app of the smartphone highlighting that the video stabilisation of the device offers four modes — Standard, Locked, Active and Cinematic Pan. While these four are under the ‘Normal’ video mode, there will also be an option to record videos in ‘Slow Motion’ and ‘Time Lapse.’
For those unaware, the Pixel 4a was launched in India in October and globally in August. In India, the device was launched at Rs 29,999.
In terms of specs, it comes powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU and Titan M security chip. Offering a 5.81-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution, the Pixel 4a offers a single-lens 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, Dual PD autofocus, and 4k video recording support. There’s also an 8MP front camera with an ultra-wide lens.
