hike sticker chat: Hike to shut down its Sticker Chat app later this month – Latest News

Messaging platform Hike will shut down its Sticker Chat app this month. This was announced by the company’s CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal via a post on Twitter.

Mittal tweeted that the app will be closed down in January 2021. He, however, did not reveal the exact date as to when the Sticker Chat app will be booted.

Hike Sticker Chat app was first launched in April 2019. The app offers more than 30,000 stickers in 40 Indian languages.

In the Twitter post, Mittal also mentions that the app users can download their data from the app itself before it shuts down completely. “Your HikeMoji will continue to be available in both Vibe & Rush,” he says.

For the unaware, Rush is the company’s new gaming service that was announced earlier this month. Hike has also revamped its HikeLand which is now called Vibe by Hike. Vibe will be an approval-only community. This means that a user will have to apply first in order to join a Vibe community.
