Ahead of that, IO Interactive and Sony have dropped a new VR trailer of the game on PlayStation official YouTube channel.
This is the first game in the series to receive VR gameplay support. Sony has already confirmed that the existing PSVR headset will work from their next-generation gaming console.

If you already own two other games in the series, Hitman 3 will allow you to pull up certain stages and levels and play it in VR. That means, you can play other two games of the series in VR as well.
What’s unknown though is whether IO Interactive will offer first-perspective of the game in VR or not.
The VR trailer of the game shows off Agent 47 in action in third-person perspective. The trailer also showcases several new and old aspects of the game such as hallmarks, inventive kills, shootouts and more.
It looks like IO Interactive has made some changes to the aesthetics, mechanics and gameplay of the game to offer the best possible VR gaming experience.
For example, the trailer shows Agent 47 firing a gun by extending his hand around corners or tapping on someone before opening the door.
For those unaware, Hitman 3 arrives on January 20 and it will be available on across the platforms including PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
