The feature automatically deletes any given message after seven days of sending it. Steps to send disappearing messages on Signal

Open any chat on the Signal app and tap on the chat name

Under the chat settings, tap Disappearing messages option

Set your timers between 5 seconds and 1 week and tap Ok

4.

The chat window will now show a notification stating that its enabled

Steps to disable disappearing messages
Head to chat settings by tapping on the chat name and choose the Disappearing messages option. Move the timer to Off.
