The teaser shared by the company shows that the smartphone will come with an extendable and pull out design. This is the same design which the company teased during the launch of LG Wing as part of the company’s Explorer Project program.
The company just showed a glimpse of the phone and has not revealed any other detail of the smartphone. In the year 2019, LG filed for a patent in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), which showed the design of a smartphone with a flexible display which can be rolled up into its own housing sides.
At the time of launch of the LG Wing, the company said that the objective of its explorer project is to explore and inject new life into areas left untapped and also reshape and expand the present user experience. The company also mentioned that the project will solely focus on new usability which is discovered with innovative designs.
The South Korean tech giant did not reveal any details about the phone or how the display will work. Along with this, the company has also not shared any timeline for the launch of this new smartphone.
Recently, LG launched a new truly wireless earbuds lineup in India — called LG ToneFree. The series consists of HBS-FN7 and HBS-FN6 earbuds and the USP of these is that they come with UVnano charging cradle with ultraviolet light that is claimed to sanitise the earbuds, eliminating 99.9% bacteria while charging.
