Redmi Note 10: Xiaomi India MD has a ‘display quiz’ for the upcoming Redmi Note 10 – Latest News

Xiaomi has announced the launch of Redmi Note 10 smartphone series on March 4. The new Redmi series will succeed the Redmi Note 9 that was launched in 2020.

Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed some of the expected specs and features of the Redmi Note 10 series. In a Twitter post, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain has teased the display of the upcoming series.

He says that the Redmi Note 10 will come with the ‘brightest display ever’ on a Redmi Note phone. The display will be ‘as bright as _ _ 12 Pro’, he leaves on the readers to guess.

Taking a cue from Jain’s tweet, many responded back saying the Redmi Note 10’s display will be brighter than iPhone 12 Pro. “As bright as iPhone 12 Pro 800 nits max brightness (typical); 1,200 nits max brightness,” replied a user.

This has also led users to speculate that the Redmi Note 10 may come with an AMOLED panel. “More brightness means that it will have a high quality AMOLED display”, tweeted a fan. The company is yet to officially confirm the same.

Meanwhile, Amazon has created a microsite of the upcoming Redmi series. As per the Amazon webpage, Redmi Note 10 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

It will feature an ‘all-new stunning design’ with faster charging abilities. The smartphone series will come with IP52 rating, suggesting it will offer some resistance to dust and water but it will not be the same as IP68 water and dust resistance.
