NEW DELHI: Samsung has showcased plenty of new products and innovations at CES 2021. Now on the last day of CES 2021, the company will launch its next-generation Galaxy S21 series. The company has scheduled the virtual event for January 14, 2021.

The launch event for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will begin at 7 am PT (8.30 pm IST) on January 14. You can watch the live stream on Samsung’s YouTube page and also on its newsroom homepage.

This year’s event comes with the tagline ‘Welcome to the Everyday Epic’. As per the media invite, it is expected that the smartphone maker may also bring “devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience” along with its new flagship Galaxy S series phones.

A dedicated page for the upcoming event has also appeared on e-commerce site Amazon, suggesting that the handsets will be available via the e-tailer’s site in India.

Along with the Galaxy S21 series of smartphones, Samsung is also expected to launch its latest true wireless earbuds — Galaxy Buds Pro and the tracker Galaxy SmartTags at the event.

All three upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphones will come with Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customisation One UI 3.1. The company is expected to launch two models of the Galaxy S21 series — one will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and the other powered by the company’s own Exynos 2100 chipset.

So rumours also suggest that this time the company is bringing a display variable refresh rate in all the three smartphones. Samsung introduced this feature for the first time last year with the Galaxy Note 20.

Apart from this, rumours also reveal that this time Samsung has decided to remove the microSD card slot from the smartphones. Along with this, the company has also decided to remove the charger from the sales box.
