Samsung Galaxy S21 series pre-booking to start from January 15 in India – Mobiles News

NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung is all set to launch its much-awaited Galaxy S21 series of smartphones today. The company has scheduled the virtual Galaxy Unpacked launch event for 8 pm. The event will be telecast live on the company’s official website along with Samsung Newsroom. The event will also be live streamed on Samsung’s official YouTube channel.

Now it has been reported that Samsung will start pre-booking in India for Galaxy S21 series in India starting January 15. Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has shared a poster on Twitter which shows that Samsung will start taking pre-booking for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra in India.

Another interesting thing to note is that Samsung has announced that those who are watching the event could also be one of the first 21 to win the Galaxy device.

As per rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own One UI 3.0. The smartphones will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 chipset. The US models of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be powered by the most-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

Rumours also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will come with a display with variable refresh rate.Samsung introduced this feature for the first time last year with the Galaxy Note 20.

Apart from this, rumours also reveal that this time Samsung has decided to remove the microSD card slot from the smartphones. Along with this, the company has also decided to remove the charger from the sales box.
