Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G to launch on January 8: All details – Mobiles News


Xiaomi will be launching another smartphone in the Redmi Note 9 range. Dubbed as the Redmi Note 9T 5G, the company will be hosting a virtual event at 5:30PM IST on January 8 for the same. Xiaomi will be offering 5G support in this device and it may offer a minimum of 4GB of RAM.

As per a listing by Amazon Germany, the Redmi Note 9T 5G smartphone will come in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while there will be another 4G RAM option with 128GB storage. The starting price is expected to be 229 Euro which translates to around Rs 21,000 in India. The listing also revealed colour options of the device: Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G likely specs

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G will most likely flaunt a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display offering 90Hz refresh rate. The device may be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. There will be support for NFC and as far as the battery is concerned, Redmi Note 9T 5G is expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery along with support for 18W fast charging.

Talking about the camera, the Redmi Note 9T 5G may offer a 48MP primary camera along with two other cameras.

Last month, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphones in China. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display and is powered by a mid-range Qualcomm processor. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 9 5G is powered by a MediaTek processor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery.

Both the smartphones are priced under Rs 20,000 and the addition of the new Redmi Note 9T 5G expands the lineup even further.
